Rainbowfish, named so because of their vibrant and colorful appearance, are very energetic and peaceful minded fish. Rainbowfish are known to be very hardy and are able to live in a wide range of fresh water conditions. It is also beneficial to have ample room for the Rainbowfish to swim around.

Natural omnivores, they can consume a wide variety of food from algae to larvae. Although less vibrant as juveniles, Rainbowfish grow into beautiful and animated adults and look great in any aquarium and can cohabit with other non-aggressive breeds.
