ORDERING
Online ordering DIRECT FROM THE BREEDER TO YOUR FRONT DOOR is now avaliable. As you browse the Fish Store add selections and quantity to your shopping cart. You can view more information about each species by selecting the "More Info" button under each picture or just clicking on the picture. You can view your shopping cart at any time by selecting the Shopping Cart button. You can proceed to checkout at any time by selecting the Checkout button.

SHIPPING COSTS
Oddballfish.com is now offering a greatly reduced flat fee for shipping. The fee is either $20 per box or $30 per box depending on your location. You can check actual shipping costs by building your desired order as usual and then proceeding to the checkout screen. Enter your shipping info (address) and press SUBMIT and the system will display actual shipping prices. It will also tell you how many boxes are required for the fish you have selected. If you want to "fill" the box or get back to one box you can still do that at this time simply by going back to the checkout screen and updating quantities or removing entire line items. Generally, we can safely fit up to about 8 to 12 of our larger fish and up to about 24 of our smaller fish in a medium box.

PAYMENT
We accept MasterCard, Visa and American Express credit and debit cards. There is no shipping and handling charge and no sales tax. On the Checkout screen please list your home and delivery address for credit/debit card verification purposes. All of these transactions and accompnying information are processed on a secure screen.

SHIPPING
Orders are normally shipped FedEx 2-day, or Fed-Ex Ground, depending on your location, weather, etc. In special situations or on special request we can ship overnight. There may be an added charge for overnight requests. Generally, orders are shipped Wednesday for Friday delivery. Special requests can be made through the feedback form.

Orders are double bagged with approximately 1/2 gallon of water and pure oxygen, placed in 1.4 inch thick styrofoam boxes (twice the industry standard), sealed, then placed in corrugated shipping boxes labelled for tropical fish. We generally do not use heat packs as our packaging is so good the heat packs tend to over heat the water. In addition, we use FedEx exclusively which is the only carrier that keeps the shipments in climate controlled vehicles and facilites.

However, if certain weather parameters are exceeded we will not ship your order until the weather improves. You will be notified of this decision on the checkout screen and given the option to overide. However, we would not be able to guarantee live delivery if you choose the "ship anyway" option.
